following practices can help bring about positive changes in the
workplace:
- Let's start the interview. Start a conversation with your employees in a secretive one-on-one interview. Give them a chance to vent, and then get involved in solving the problems they raise.
- Help, not force. Help employees think through the issues they face, but don't tell them how to solve them. Let them take responsibility for improving the problem themselves.
- Don't just talk about it and not do anything. Ask employees to translate complaints into a commitment to improvement. You will win the trust of your employees for the changes you make because of what you are willing to listen to.
