1. 指定代表反對的發言者。團隊運作中，常使用集體思考的作法。然而，這通常并不能真的能夠發現問題，得到解決方案。你可以指定某人扮演魔鬼代言人，質疑大家的主張。
2. 避免雙位數。團隊成員人數應該愈少愈好，千萬不要搞一個團隊人數超過9個人。
3. 保持隊形。盡量避免汰換團隊成員。組建完成的團隊，通常比經常汰換成員的團隊，表現來得好。
