有熱情的員工，能夠產生較佳的成績。最好的讓你的員工維持在熱情狀態的方法是你自己展示熱情，但是，你並不需要是個善於搞笑的老闆。

以下有幾個方式可以讓你顯示自己的熱情，並能夠激勵他人：

1. 關注在正面發展。員工可以感受到老闆是否真的關心公司或是一個在進行中的項目。有激情的老闆他可以說說他要什麼、什麼樣的結果會有助於公司的發展。
2. 不要忽略負面情況。熱情的老闆並不是整天都是陽光燦爛的，他同樣很現實的關注所發生的問題，他雖然不見得可以自己親自做，但是他重視並可以協助解決所遇到的問題。
3. 制定高期待值。這並不表示他會提出無法達成的目標，並讓員工增加工作量，但是一個熱情的老闆會激勵員工做出最佳的努力，而不會有過重的負擔。

3. Make high expectations. This does not mean that he will make an impossible goal and allow employees to increase their workload, but a passionate boss will motivate employees to make the best effort without a heavy burden.
