Try to speak at the meeting
If
you are a junior person in the department, you may worry about inexperience, and will stutter in the meeting. But if you don't
speak, you don't get the attention of the senior people in the meeting room.
And these senior people have the power to take you to the higher level of the
workplace.
Find
something that's enough for the senior to notice you, and your potential, to
share it with them. Don't underestimate your ability, which may be related to
what is being noticed. You can refer to projects you're working on, such as:
"I'm talking to clients about this kind of thing." Or, "Janson asked me how this thing would
hit our bottom line, our team was dealing with it, and that's how we solved
it."
But
be careful not to say cross-border, arrogant. Pay attention to the evidence,
for example: "I read a report."
