三招讓高效員工知道你對他的肯定

在你的團隊中,出現了工作績效高的員工,是你的福氣,他也很需要你對他的肯定!
不要假設他平常就知道你是肯定他的工作表現的!
以下有三招可以讓你在表達對他的肯定時,他會聽起來更受用、更鼓舞:
  1. 指出他目前工作優良表現的特殊點,並公開表揚。每個人的工作都有一個範圍,包含了許多細節,將這位員工做得特別優良的細節指出來,說出你的看法,並可以誠懇地與他交流,讓他說出他如何構思與如何做到,讓他感受到你知道他的獨到之處。達到共識後,可以請其他員工過來觀摩,說出你看到的精彩之處。
  2. 給他一個他還可以再進步的工作指標。工的成就感,在於能夠以他的能力一步步地解決問題,逐漸地進步。以你對他能力進步的瞭解,給他下一個工作指標。他會知道你是在他肯定現有表現上,才給他更具挑戰的任務。
  3. 激勵的頻率是很關鍵的。只要你一有空,走到他旁邊,拉把椅子,坐到他身邊,共同看他的工作,請他展示最新的進展,只要他一有新的好表現,立刻表示你的肯定。高效員工需要你這樣經常性的對他工作的關注與肯定。不要吝嗇你的時間,經常鼓勵,能夠激發出他無限的潛能。
Three ways to let efficient employees know your affirmation of him

開會陷入膠著,先休息一下

當一個項目或是會議進入膠著狀況,你會有衝動一股勁的衝過去,結束它。但是,就如你對待你的龜速電腦一般,有的時候先關機再開機,情況就會比較好一些。

當會議中大家爭執到不曉得走到什麼方向了,不如先暫停,休息一下。讓大家去方便一下,出去走走。在休息時候,不要再去想如何設計出新的策略,或是回頭要如何繼續爭執。就是讓自己完全放鬆,讓頭腦休息一下。當你回到會議室時,就會有平靜的心情與新的觀點,也許接下來就比較容易能夠找到解決方案。

 When a project or meeting gets stuck, you have the urge to rush past it and end it. But, just like you do with your tortoise speed computer, sometimes it's better to turn it off before turning it on.

What to do after the meeting

開好你的全員大會

當企業層峰領導想要傳遞重要信息給全體員工,他們會在大會議廳里召開個全員大會。當召集了企業全體員工聚集在一起,就意味有重要的消息要宣佈,並且希望獲得最熱烈的掌聲。
然而,多數的時候,員工反而會認為這是最無效的溝通方式。
不過,你不需要因此而放棄將大家召集在一起,而要思考如何開好這個全員大會。
你要說明你所宣佈的消息是如何與每個人息息相關。先擱置你的PowerPoint簡報,而改為更多的人際互動形式,讓台上台下產生對話,可以討論。最後,不要霸佔住主席台,若是只是一個人在台上滔滔不絕,也會聽起來像是個破錄音機。 請更多的主管或是員工代表上來發表不同的觀點,讓全員大會辦起來更像是全員在參與。

設法設定你參加會議的時間為50分鐘。如果一場必須用60分鐘開的會議,一定能夠在50分鐘內開完。
這樣,能夠讓你自己與大家都能夠多出10分鐘來舒緩一下。
